my work. so boring.
finally, some paper to write on. the whiteness of the back of a booking sheet.
i've been trying to book this man in for a meeting since late last year. he's changed his mind about coming twice now, and finally today he threw int he towel.
i work part time for a financial advisory firm, booking in people for financial advice. my job involes calling random people on a list and inviting them in for advice. if that sounds boring, then your right. it is!
i think the only thing this job has helped me with is overcoming the fear of talking on the phone. even that only to a small extent. that's why it always amazes me that my friends always ask me about my job.
the other day a uni mate of mine, that works for a shipping company (how lucky!) started asking me about work. i mean, he's got such an interesting job, compared to mine anyway, and here he is asking me about what i do!
get over it people. my job is utterly boring. the only remotely interesting thing today so far has been this rather elderly man telling me that my accent is sweet and that i sound like 'Vilde' (called Minken Tveitan in real life) from 'Hotel Cæsar'.
so hopefully one of these days my post will be all about my new job.
i better get back to the boringness.
