beautiful 'young' lady

i've just had two hours, atleast, of 'conference' at work. seeing as i've already stated that my job isn't worth talking about, i'll skip the resumé.

one interesting thing over lunch though was my talk with one of the other bookers. we started chatting about religion. mainly because she discovered my being vegetarian. the fact that i'm visibly darker than the rest also contributated to this topic being brought up i believe.
i left the place a bit angry because i don't particularly like people who are overly religious and who tell me that they want me to become christian so that i may go to heaven.
so i rushed to the bus, catching it just in time. i wanted to check my mail before i had to go back to work.
the bus was quite full, but there was this elderly woman sitting there with her shopping on one of the seats. i looked her way, and she caught me eye, but she didn't remove her shopping. i thought to myself, i've only got a few stops before i have to get of, why bother? so just remained standing.
a few stops later people started getting of the bus. i had to move back to where she was sitting as to let people off. thats when she removed her bags, while looking at me. i thanked her and sat down besides her, even though there were several seats empty by this point.
we started chatting about the weather and how she had been to denmark. she told me that denmark was experiancing a snow storm and that she'd just come home the day before. she was a lovely lady. she told me she was 82, but she didn't look a day over 70! the bible came up a few times during our conversation, and she remined me of 'dot cotton'. it was wierd how her talk of the bible didn't aggitate me nearly as much as the lady from work. good thing i meet her today.
she talked about her diet and the war. how the women from the coast were strong, both mentally and physically. by this point we were almost at the bus station. our final destination.

so this is me appreciating this wonderful human being for making my day a little better. especially since i left work today with a 'bitter taste in my mouth' of the christianity i encountered there.
